Post Details

I recently completed +2 in Nepal and I’m at a point where I have to decide whether to stay in Nepal for bachelor studies or go abroad. My parents are supportive and told me to do whatever I truly want, but since I come from a middle-class family, I don’t want to make a decision emotionally and regret it later. That’s why I want genuine opinions from people who are already abroad or who chose to stay in Nepal. Please be brutally honest about the reality, not consultancy marketing. I want to know: * Which country are you in? * What are you studying? * How hard is it to get a part-time job there right now? * Can students realistically pay tuition fees and living expenses on their own? * How expensive is rent and daily life? * What is the current job market situation after graduation? * Are international students struggling there nowadays? * Is the PR/work visa pathway still good or becoming difficult? * What is the current visa approval/rejection situation for Nepali students? Sometimes I feel going abroad could completely change my future and exposure. But at the same time, I also see many students struggling abroad financially, mentally, and academically. So I genuinely want to understand the real situation before making such a big decision. If you stayed in Nepal for bachelors, do you regret it or not? And if you went abroad, was it worth it financially and personally? I’d really appreciate honest experiences from seniors and students currently living abroad.
