Hey everyone, I’m 18 and currently in college in Nepal. I’m planning to buy my first proper bike, but I’m confused and don’t want to make a wrong decision that I regret later. My daily use: - Daily city commuting in Kathmandu area - Road conditions: traffic, potholes, uneven roads - Speed: mostly cruising around 50–60 km/h - Usage: college + occasional longer rides What matters to me most: 1. Real-world mileage (very important) 2. Balanced performance (easy overtakes, not overly aggressive) 3. Low maintenance and affordable servicing in Nepal 4. Comfort for daily use on rough roads 5. Long-term reliability and durability 6. Spare parts availability in Nepal Bonus factor: Since I’m a college student, I also want something that looks good on the road with decent presence — not overly flashy, but still stylish and modern. What I need from experienced riders: - What bike would you personally recommend under ~5 lakh in Nepal for this kind of usage? - Real mileage you are getting in Nepal/India conditions - Long-term ownership experience (good or bad) - Common issues or regrets after buying - Service experience in Nepal I would really appreciate honest advice from people who have actually owned or ridden bikes long-term in South Asian conditions. Thanks in advance 🙏
